Mount Evan's, CO

Mount Evans is a mountain in the Front range  region of the Rocky Mountains. Also Mt Evans highway above Summit Lake is the highest paved road in North America. On the peak it was extremely windy though not cold  and we got lucky to witness a herd of Big Horn Sheep. The scenic drive was adventurous and nerve wracking at times while the views were breathtaking throughout. The pleasant weather and low traffic in the month of June, 2011, was an icing on the cake.

Rocky Mountain National Park, CO

 Rocky Mountain National Park truly is a land of superlatives. Although the great peaks comprise the essence of the park, the delicate alpine flowers, clear lakes, rushing mountain waters, and impressive forests appeal to all the senses. An array of wildlife - bighorn sheep, coyote, elk - adds life to the landscape.

Historic Georgia Town,CO

High in the Rocky Mountains, at 8,500 ft. elevation, Georgetown, Colorado is a picturesque charming town of about 1,000 people. We drove around the town and were impressed to see the extent to which the Victorian architecture has been preserved in private homes. The entire town was historical and pictureque but for me the highlight remained the Church on the lake. A perfect setting, a backdrop of snowclad mountain peaks and tranquil reflection of the church in the pond.

PikesPeak, CO

The most visited mountain in North America , Pikes Peak forms a stunning backdrop for Colorado Springs and the Garden of the Gods. Serenity and Majesty of nature can surely be witnessed at Pikes peak in Colorado.
